Quit Smoking Withdrawal.
Can I Ever Quit Smoking Without The
Withdrawal?
Quit
smoking withdrawal is what scares most smokers and is one
of the major factors in smokers not wanting to stop
smoking. They associate quit smoking withdrawal to the
dark days of feeling depressed and moping around thinking
life could never be the same again after stopping smoking
or the quit smoking withdrawal is so strong (atleast in
the smokers mind that they never attempt to quit smoking
again after a few failed attempts.
This
has to be the second most common question i get asked
when it comes to people stop smoking! They always ask me,
if it is possible to stop smoking without withdrawing
from nicotine? and my answer is yes and no!
First we all have our own definitions of
Quit smoking withdrawal symptom's, just like no two bodies are
the same, so are the feeling of quit smoking withdrawal.
If you are craving/withdrawling from cigarettes for
more than five days, then there is something
wrong with your approach. You see there are two
definitions of withdrawal and a few under each of these
categories.
First lets deal with "Craving for
cigarette's", the definition would be, the unhappy now "ex
smoker" going through the rest of their lives yearning for a
cigarette, but because they cant have one, they hate
life. What makes this even worse, is that you cannot
live life normally when you smoke and you think when you quit
smoking that you will be miserable for the rest of your life
because of the quit smoking withdrawal.
Quit Smoking Without The Terrible
Withdrawal
In fact you were better off a
smoker, because now that you think you are a non smoker
just because you don't have a smoke, doesn't mean you are not a
smoker! The actual physical side is only one small part of the
nicotine addiction puzzle which is boils down to quit smoking
withdrawal symptoms we suffer.
For those withdrawing from cigarette's
is normal, the poison is now leaving the body and should be out
within as little as 48 hours! But then people
carry on getting cravings after this and this is not normal at
all, infact its worse than torture, because they have gone so
long using their will power to stop, that they will eventually
con themselves into thinking they can simply smoke only one
smoke per day and we both know where that can lead us.
Quit Smoking Withdrawal
And Why 99% Of People Who Attempt To
Stop Smoking Suffer
Quitting smoking without the withdrawal
is impossible, but this is a short lived thing, considering you
would have been poisoning your body for the last 10-20 years
like most smokers. This is as normal as
someone having a head rush the first time they smoked, they got
dizzy for the exact same reasons that you now feel when you
withdraw from cigarette's.
Now most of the new age drugs being sold
as ways to help you quit smoking without the withdrawal contain
nicotine, so while you might be giving up smoking now which is
the only way to get the drug called nicotine, you will never be
free from anything! What you will do is convince yourself that
you have a personality disorder or a problem with drugs! That
you must always be taking something.
